
Veniza Fernandez
Head of Middle School
Veniza Fernandez has been an integral part of The Millennium School for over 20 years and currently serves as Head of Middle School as well as Head of Communications and Outreach.
She began her journey at TMS in 2004 as a Mathematics teacher before transitioning to Science, where she took on multiple leadership roles including Phase 3 Science Coordinator, SEND Coordinator, and coordinator of various academic and co-scholastic events.
With a strong expertise in pedagogical strategies, assessment practices, and educational technology integration, Ms. Fernandez has led the design and implementation of academic programs, provided instructional support to teachers, and ensured alignment with educational standards and goals.
Her commitment to inclusivity is reflected in her collaboration with special needs centers through the school’s Best Buddies Programme, promoting a culture of tolerance, empathy, and acceptance.
Passionate about a student-centered approach, Ms. Fernandez prioritizes the needs and interests of learners in instructional planning. She actively advocates for inclusive practices and works to create classrooms that are engaging, supportive, and equitable for all.
A strong believer in the power of collaboration, she fosters a culture of teamwork and mutual respect, encouraging open dialogue and constructive feedback among colleagues, students, and parents.
